Another Rubberstamped Snow Scrapbooking Layout

Here is the second snow scrapbooking layout I did using rubberstamps. I stamped the snowman on a piece of cardstock that is 1/8 inch bigger than the tag template on each side and then I colored in the image. I put a thin line of glue around the bottom and sides of the cardstock and […]

Snow Scrapbooking Layout

I love how versatile this big bear stamp from Wood Cellar Graphics is. He’s designed so that he looks like he’s about to give you a big hug, but its so easy to make him hold a banner instead. I inked him by hand with markers to leave out the big bow around his neck. […]

Evolving Images has a fabulous new product available- Angelina fusible fibers. These fibers are gorgeous. They sparkle and shimmer and glow and…well, you get the idea. I want them all!
Evo has some sample cards using the fibers on her website. Check out the closeup of the butterfly wing about halfway down the page.

Tag Template for Christmas or Scrapbooking

As the holidays approach, I get serious about rubberstamping Christmas crafts. This simple tag template can be used to create gift tags, ornaments or scrapbooking embellishments. Need a smaller or larger tag? Copy the template, paste it into Word and simply drag to resize it.

Birthday Card Bookmark Combo

I really like to make birthday cards that are also useful by designing cards that include bookmarks, pins or other small goodies. This simple birthday card/bookmark uses unmounted rubber stamps from Buffalo Stampede. (By the way, their site seems to have been taken over by a travel company. Does anyone know if they are still […]

My Sentiments Exactly Winter Brochure

My Sentiments Exactly has come out with a winter brochure filled with great new clear stamps. I am especially excited about the unmounted stamping storage container (I’ve been using binders with baseball card organizer sheets and the stamps slip out at the most inconvenient times.) and their adorable new shoe and dress stamp designs. My […]

My Favorite Nontraditional Stamp Experiment

I used a lot of different objects as stamps for our first challenge. My favorite: a background created with the eraser end of a pencil. I also used springs, character erasers and a wrench. I tried pasta, but it didn’t work out. Don’t forget to post your results to the flickr group!

Art Institute Glitter

Have you ever noticed that your glitter isn’t very, well, glittery? I used to be frustrated by the lack of sparkle on my glitter covered images until I tried Art Institute’s glitter. It is so fine that it really makes images sparkle. Here, I used it to make a glittery lace patterned background.
I do recommend […]
