Ok, I was able to find time to make a few paper quilts. I discovered that I am not a geometric kind of girl. No matter how hard I tried, some ragged edges and uneven shapes showed up. I used unmounted stamps and I’m not sure who made the wine bottle. Possibly Buffalo Stampede?

Chrysti has a wonderful idea - making paper quilts from all those little scraps of decorative paper we have laying around. Hers are absolutely gorgeous and have inspired me to try to make a dent in my scrap pile. So, I’m off to my studio for the day!
If you make some paper quilts, I’d […]

I was inspired by today’s Split Coast Stamping challenge to create this patriotic thank you card. Although you can’t tell it from the scan, the blue is a lovely medium shade. I think the gold ink I rubbed over it and the stamped image made it scan dark. In person, it is lovely and shimmery. […]

Isn’t this cute? My five year old niece made it for me as a surprise. Note the use of the rose stamp and the different background effects. She told me she’s going to be an artist when she grows up and I said I think she’s already an artist.
