Adorable Rubber Stamping Kitchen Towel Project
This lovely towel by DIY Obasan wasn’t just rubber stamped. Oh, no. That would be too easy. First, she carved the four different bowl designs and then she stamped a piece of fabric that she sewed into a towel. She says she can’t use the towel now that it is done and I don’t blame her. That was a ton of work and you certainly wouldn’t want this adorable towel to end up covered in tea stains.
Anyway, although I don’t have time or patience to carve such intricate designs, I do have similar stamps in my stash and I think a set of kitchen towels I handstamped would make a lovely housewarming gift for someone very dear to me who is moving to a new home on Friday.
