Stamping Mad

Another Rubberstamped Snow Scrapbooking Layout

by Katelyn on October 30th, 2006

Snow scrapbooking layoutHere is the second snow scrapbooking layout I did using rubberstamps. I stamped the snowman on a piece of cardstock that is 1/8 inch bigger than the tag template on each side and then I colored in the image. I put a thin line of glue around the bottom and sides of the cardstock and adhered it to the bottom left side of the scrapbooking paper to make a pocket.

I cut out a tag from a matching piece of cardstock and slid it into the pocket. The tag will be used for journaling.

Then, I used my Sizzix diecut machine to cut out two photo frames and matching background squares for the title letters. I used my favorite alphabar alphabet diecuts to spell out the word “Snow.”

By the way, sometimes I use a similar layout to make an interactive photo spread. I glue a “before” picture on the front of the pocket (a child about to bite into a birthday cake.) and adhere the “after” picture to the tag (face covered in icing.) When someone pulls out the tag, they discover the “after” picture. Just plain fun.

Hi there…I love your page….especially the use of stamps. I have so many stamps and have thought about using them….that’s as far as it got :) Just an idea…would it not be possible to enable the viewer to enlarge your picture? Thanks for sharing your work. Allison. South Africa
