Another Use for Home Decor Stamps

Have you ever looked at those huge home decor stamps in your stamping closet and wondered why on earth you bought something so big to make a one off project? The other day, I was staring at the enormous rose stamp I bought a year or so ago and I decided to try to come up with some uses for it besides making velvet embossed pillows.

I stamped the rose onto a piece of fairly heavy cardstock, colored it in, cut it out and sprayed it with fixative. Then, I glued it to a piece of lightweight tin and cut the whole shape out again. I punched a hole near the top, added a piece of pretty ribbon and now I have a pretty ornament to hang on next year’s Christmas tree.

Anyone else have some good ideas for using these big stamps?
