Artful Monday - Enough Thinking, Already
Have you ever spent so long thinking that you ran out of time to actually create? Today’s piece is about just that. And, if you’re wondering where I got my inspiration…we went on a nature walk today and this little nut just looked like an owl head. For some reason, that made me think about thinking, or actually overthinking. From there, I got this.
I used Jim Holtz Distress Ink over the piece. It is the first time I used it and boy, is it juicy! I wiped off a lot of it, but it was still darker than I wanted. A light touch goes a looong way.

You’re so right!
When I catch myself over-thinking a project, my mantra is the old Nike ad slogan “Just Do It!”
I’m gonna fly away now and finally DO that decoupage project I’ve been thinking about all week. LOL
Thanks for the inspiration.
