I had a few wood scraps and decided to recycle them into canvases for mixed media pieces. This is one of them. I gessoed it first and let it dry, then painted the background. The FLY stamp is one of those cheap foam stamps. The butterfly was painted with liquid watercolors and the crackle effect on the body is crayon covered in a light coat of metallic watercolors.
