Artful Monday - Little Bird Mixed Media
I have been playing around with some of my photos lately. This little sparrow is so cute and personable that I must have gotten 50 shots of him the other day! When I looked at them, though, they were lacking oomph. (Is that a word?) I decided to use some of them in mixed media pieces.
This piece actually did have the new oak leaf stamp I bought on it, but it got completely covered by additional layers. If you can’t see rubber stamp images on a piece of art, is it still ok to show it on a rubber stamping blog?

Thanks. I decided it wasn’t quite done and added a few more elements the other day, but I love the texture, too.
