Buttons!
One of my favorite stamping accessories is the button. It’s very easy to add to a card or scrapbook page and can make an immediate impact. Here are a few ways you can begin incorporating buttons into your stamping projects:
- Tie a bit of thread, twine, ribbon, or cord through the holes on the button and tie in a knot. Adhere to the paper with a glue dot or other strong adhesive. (sample stamped card here)
- Wrap thread, twine, ribbon, or cord around paper layers twice. Run each loop through one of the holes on the button. Adhere the button to the paper to hold it flat. (sample stamped card here)
- Fold up a corner of the paper and attach a button to look like it is holding the paper together.
