I thought you might like to see my progress on the pieces I am working on for Paulette Insall’s class. I have been using a lot more water when I’m applying the acrylics and I think it does make a big difference.
Can you believe I am still using that Fleur di Lys stamp? It […]

Here’s my version of the egg challenge. I didn’t think about my scanner size when I was making it, so I had to crop off a bit of the bottom and the top of the piece, but it was just spacing around the bird to make the composition balanced.
The fern leaf is a home […]

I got a new puppy. Actually, I got a new puppy twice, because my mom bought the first one’s sister and she got pneumonia before my mom could bring her home. Since she really wanted a Cairn Terrier, I agreed to swap for a Scottie puppy she found two days later. I couldn’t have done […]

This week’s Skinny Saturday Challenge was friendship. I actually ended up doing 3 pieces for it, but this is my favorite. I used a rubber stamped rose image that was unmounted, so I’m not sure where it came from. I used a rub-on that said friends and an image of two girls from Altered Abbey.

We’ve been trying to make a dent in the backlog of projects the little guy has been wanting to try. These bird ornaments from the latest issue of Somerset Studio were so fun to make. He really had a great time finding just the right red button for the red bird’s body and he came […]

Here are the pages that I’m going to be including in the Stamping Out Alzheimer’s Cherished Memories Fat Book auction. I am still working on the covers for all the books that need to be bound, but all of the pages are punched and organized for binding.
Art pages by Vickie Johnson, Rebecca Warren, Regina, Leah […]

I took a bit of time away from the Alzheimer’s swap to put together these two inch square collage pieces. Why this size? I found some awesome coasters with a two inch by two inch display space and I decided to make some Art Meets Function collage coasters for my Etsy shop. I had so […]

The first set of pages I am working on has a “sisters” theme and is dedicated to all my special memories of my sister. None of them is alike because making the same page over again just doesn’t excite me.
If you want to join the swap at the last minute, I do have a few […]
