Christmas Decorating Idea - Rubber Stamped Wooden Letters
I made this Christmas decoration in an afternoon. You’ll need plain wooden letters to spell out a word, a frame, a piece of decorative paper, a home decor stamp and paints. I used the metallic watercolors I was gushing about yesterday. Sand and prime your wooden letters, stamp your home decor stamp on them using a good permanent ink and paint the letters. I didn’t paint the backs since I was gluing them down.
After the letters dry, apply a protective finish. If you need to paint your frame, do so now. Put a piece of decorative paper in the frame and hot glue the letters on top of it.
Alternate idea:
Decorate small letters instead and glue them to the top or base of a frame, leaving plenty of space inside the frame for a picture of someone special to show.

That is beautiful! I want one! Maybe I’ll make one for next year. At least I know where to come for the directions. ;)

Thanks. It was fun and easy. I hope you do make one, Julie. I love mine. You could always make one that says love and put it out for Valentine’s Day if you don’t get to make one for Christmas.
