Christmas in July - Mixed Media Star
It’s July and I have Christmas on my mind. I’ve been working on gifts and decorations for the last few days. One of the things I’ve made is this mixed media star. I cut it from flannel, painted it, stamped it with my current favorite home decor stamp and then sewed it together. I have a bead on each point, but you can’t see them because the star is on the big side. Then I printed the little girl photo on muslin and pasted her to the star, along with the “visions of sugarplums” saying. It really didn’t take long and it is a fun decoration.

Nice star, I’ll be putting this on my list for next year since I already have most of my gift oranments made for this year.
