Desperate for Spring Card
I can’t believe they’re calling for snow in mid-April! Well, if spring won’t come, we’ll make our own artful flowers. This simple card design is super easy for kids and lots of fun. I made this one with help from a three year old and a five year old. We tore paper into petal shapes, picked a button for the center and glued our flower together. As far as the kids are concerned, it is only art if paint is involved, so we used some acrylic copper paint on most the scraps. Then, we stamped on some of the petals. Inside, I wrote, “Sending you Springy wishes.” We tucked it in an envelope along with some Marigold seeds and sent it off to Grams.
The stamps we used to decorate the petals:
Live comes from Rubber Poet
The small flowers come from All Night Media
