Giving Thanks - Mixed Media
Using rubber stamps to make cards or scrapbook pages is fun, but there is so much more you can do with your stamps. One of my favorite ways to use my stamps is to create mixed media collages.
Giving Thanks is a mixed media collage on a canvas panel. I began by using acrylic paints to apply a background to the canvas. Then, I applied a layer of metallic rub on color. Now the fun part - I arranged my stamped words, photos, fibre, artificial leaves, etc. until I was satisfied and adhered them to the canvas. Once I was satisfied with the piece, I applied a protective finish.

Hi Cyndi,
I’ll see if I can put up a bigger photo. I’ve been trying to make them smaller so the page doesn’t load too slow, but maybe I’ve gone too far the other way!
