Stamping Mad

Glue Resist

by Katelyn on December 16th, 2006

The little guy and I spent hours yesterday playing with ordinary school glue, rubberstamps, cardstock and a few inkpads. First, we inked a rubberstamp with school glue and stamped it on the cardstock. Then, we waited for the image to dry. (And started on a new glue stamped background.) Once the glue was dry, we grabbed inkpads and dabbed ink all over the cardstock. When we were finished, we wiped the areas with the glue stamped images with a paper towel and the ink came off, letting the original cardstock color show through. Fun and pretty. I’ll have to take a few photos to show you how nice they turned out, but I have every surface in the house covered with some Christmas related project at the moment.
