Interesting Technique for Texture

by Susan on June 19th, 2006

I found a fun technique today that may be old hat to some of you, but I really liked it.  I took a piece of wax paper and scrunched it all up.  Then I took the piece of waxed paper and flattened it out a little and rubbed the shiny side on an ink pad.  You then take the inked up waxed paper and put it ink side down on your card stock.  Then take a piece of scrap paper and put it over the waxed paper and iron.  It gives it a really nice effect, a unique background texture.  I think this would be really fun to do with a multicolored pad such as a Spectrum Pad.
