Miracle of the Egg - My Friday Challenge Piece

Here’s my version of the egg challenge. I didn’t think about my scanner size when I was making it, so I had to crop off a bit of the bottom and the top of the piece, but it was just spacing around the bird to make the composition balanced.

The fern leaf is a home decor stamp. The bird is inspired by a Dover book of Colonial clip art images. The word is a rub on (Love those things!) and the nest is a piece of painted lace paper.
