My Biggest Household Waste

The List Maven, one of the other Lifestyles channel bloggers, wants to know what I waste money on the most. I thought I’d add to the question a bit and show why I waste my money. So, here is a picture of the product I buy way too much of - paper towels - and the reason I need to buy it - Gus, who thinks that going outside is a bad thing.

Seriously, I send him out the doggie door in the morning and he comes back in at full gallop to rush to the papers and looks at me with a “Whoa, that was close. I almost had an accident in the dog run!” expression on his sweet little face. I’ve tried pep talks, walks with me and putting papers in the run to try to get the idea across, but no luck so far. He likes a clean play yard, I guess.

Now, on the art front, I don’t really waste anything, including paper towels that I mop up paint spills with, because you can always use the paper towels covered in paint on a collage.
