Patriotic Thank You Card
I was inspired by today’s Split Coast Stamping challenge to create this patriotic thank you card. Although you can’t tell it from the scan, the blue is a lovely medium shade. I think the gold ink I rubbed over it and the stamped image made it scan dark. In person, it is lovely and shimmery.
The image is a stamp I made that was inspired by a photo I took of my sister and niece. I simply stamped it on tissue paper and adhered it to the blue cardstock, rubbed the gold inkpad over the whole thing and then adhered it to a sheet of red. I glued the layers to a white card blank and simply stamped “Thank you” inside. I think it would be a nice card to send to someone in the military this July.
