Shaving Cream Backgrounds on Carol Duval
I was watching Carol Duval this morning to avoid working on a freelance project I have due. It turned out to be one of the best procrastination ideas ever because she had Dee from Posh Impressions showing how to make shaving cream backgrounds, which sound weird, but are absolutely gorgeous. To do these, fill a tray with one inch sides with shaving cream and smooth out the cream. Then, drop several drops of different reinker colors in the shaving cream. Swirl it a bit and then carefully press a piece of uncoated cardstock into the cream. Lift it off. You can make a monoprint from the piece you lifted off or make more pieces using the tray of shaving cream. Blot with paper towels and blot some more. I wonder if the guys will notice if their shaving cream goes missing?
