Snow Scrapbooking Layout
I love how versatile this big bear stamp from Wood Cellar Graphics is. He’s designed so that he looks like he’s about to give you a big hug, but its so easy to make him hold a banner instead. I inked him by hand with markers to leave out the big bow around his neck. Then I cut him out and used a thumbtack to make a tiny hole in each of his hands.
I used a piece of raffia to hold my scrapbook page title, which is made from Sizzix alphabar die cuts, together. It was really simple to thread the ends of the raffia through the holes in the bear’s paws and glue them down. I adhered the bear to the upper right hand corner of the page.
Next, I used my tag template to cut out a tag for journaling and adhered it to the lower left corner. I tied a bit of raffia to the tag to make it pop a bit.
Finally, I added two photo frames to the page. I put a background paper that matched the tag behind the frame in the upper left corner to tie the page together.
By the way, if you’re looking for a great Christmas gift idea for a grandparent, a scrapbooking page is perfect. You can add photos of the grandchildren to the page, frame it and make a coordinating Christmas card that uses the same bear stamp.
