Stamping with Acrylic Paints
You can use acrylic paint to stamp on fabric, wood, or walls. First squeeze or pour a small amount of paint onto a flat surface (pan or plate works best). Apply the paint directly to the stamp using a foam sponge. You can use more than one color to add highlights or shadows if desired.
Before stamping on your permanent surface, you may want to test your stamp on cardboard or paper to see the results. When you’re happy with the paint, stamp the image onto the surface. If you’re stamping on fabric, allow it to dry for 24 hours before laundering.
Wash the stamps immediately to remove the stamp. You can place a used stamp on a pile of wet paper towels to keep the paint from drying until you can clean it.
