Tissue Paper Luminarte Technique

This skinny book page uses a fun background technique I’ve been playing around with. In person, the shimmer and depth is amazing. I crinkled up colored tissue paper and glued it down with gel medium. Make Art Monday - Mixed Media Skinny Book Page

Here’s another of the pieces I’ve been working on for the skinny book swap. I’m trying to wrap things up a few months earlier than the deadline because I’ll be pretty busy with school and Christmas present making. This one uses a piece of a vintage postcard and a gel medium photo transfer.
