Technique Tuesday - Image Transfer onto Sculpy
When I was playing around with Sculpy last week, I looked up and saw a bird laser printed copy I had and wondered if the toner would adhere to the clay. I ran the image and the clay through my pasta machine three times and then rubbed the back of the image some to be sure it was pressed firmly against the clay. Then I wet the back of the image and rubbed the paper off. A perfect transfer! I baked it with the charms and it still looks good. This is a scan of the first one I did. I made four more and they all were perfect. Now, if only I had clay canvases, I could make perfect transfers all the time.
