Just cut the card into a shape that complements the card’s theme. Birthday cards could be cut into a balloon shape or a birthday cake design. Congratulation cards could be cut into a star. Just don’t forget to leave a hinge along one side of the design so you don’t end up with two separate pieces instead of a single card.
