Technique Tuesday - Stamping onto Tape
If you are putting together a complicated layout and don’t want to spend hours fiddling with your stamp positioner, you’ll love this technique. You simply ink up your stamp, press the sticky side of a piece of packing tape down onto the ink to pick it up and adhere the packing tape to your card.
I’ve had a lot of fun playing around with this method lately. There’s so much you can do with it. In fact, Trish Bee also does this on masking tape and she swears it works. She calls this ink to tape technique Tape Lifting and you can see some lovely examples on her blog.
The stamp I used on this ATC is from Midsummer Night Stamps. (They are currently not in business, which is a shame, because I loved their whimsical designs.)

Trish,
Thanks. I can’t wait to try this with masking tape. It looks so delicate and old on your lovely sample.
