Technique Tuesday - Waxed Paper Resists
This is a really lovely background technique from Splitcoast Stampers:
You will need glossy cardstock, wax paper, a brayer, dye ink and an iron. Crinkle up the wax paper and then smooth it out. Put it between two sheets of paper, iron the “sandwich” and then open it up and put the waxed paper aside for your next project. Brayer the ink over the paper. The waxed areas won’t accept the ink and the end result is a gorgeous background.
(By the way, I never end up following directions. Mine are on the smooth side of a piece of watercolor paper.)
