Thanksgiving Card Idea for Kids Using the Sizzix Turkey Die
This was a quick card we put together this morning using the Sizzix turkey die. It is perfect for a group of children, since you can make a ton of turkeys very cheaply. First, we cut out a stack of turkeys in different colors and one plain white turkey. Then, we cut the feathers off the plain turkey and replaced them with feathers from the more colorful turkeys. We glued the finished turkey to a piece of watercolor paper we had painted with colorful fall colors and glued it to a blank card. Then, the kids colored their turkey’s body.
For a group of children, you’d probably want to use construction paper instead of decorative papers and watercolor paper, but we weren’t worried about doing this card cheaply.
