Thursday Thought - Art Can Happen Now
Franklin D. Roosevelt says, “Art is not a treasure in the past or an importation from another land, but part of the present life of all living and creating peoples.”
Isn’t it nice to realize that we don’t all have to travel to Paris or back in time to the age of Impressionism to make art? Don’t get me wrong-I’d love to spend a year or two in Paris and I’d love to watch great painters at work, but it sure is nice to know we can make art without those luxuries!
