Thursday Thought - Be a Rule Breaker
I was thinking today about things I’ve done that turned out really nice because I didn’t realize there were “rules” about using the materials. So, I’ve got a new Thursday Thought for you:
To be an artist, learn the rules. You need to know how to do certain things, like create the illusion of something far away or keep paints from getting muddy. Once you know the rules, break one. The result may be terrible, but it may be magical, instead. You won’t know until you try.
