Thursday Thought - See an Artist’s Soul
Art is the window to man’s soul. Without it, he would never be able to see beyond his immediate world; nor could the world see the man within.
So, the next time you make a piece of art, you are showing the world your soul. No pressure, folks. Seriously though, I think it is important to realize you are seeing only a piece of that soul or perhaps a longing that artist has. Think of Van Gogh’s lovely works that have relaxed and inspired thousands. The artist himself was so tortured and tormented that it doesn’t seem possible that those works could have come from that soul.
