This skinny book page uses a fun background technique I’ve been playing around with. In person, the shimmer and depth is amazing. I crinkled up colored tissue paper and glued it down with gel medium. Then I used Luminarte’s watercolor cakes to highlight some of the textured areas from gluing down the wrinkled paper. The result is a lovely background with just a few minutes work.
